I see that Nolan Hoffman road in the colours of Team Alfa Body Works (or something like that) at the 94.7.

Is this a new team, a personal sponsor or has Abantu got a new sponsor?

Heard a little rumour that the rest of the Abantu team has already been absorbed by another big team. Sure details will be published soon.

Think landlines..... ????

This is good news for the road scene.

The press releases from Alfa Bodyworks are always clear that Nolan is riding as a guest, and make reference only up to Boxing Day. I suspect Nolan is keeping his options open, he requires a strong and experienced team to back him up.

Nolan is most likely gonna ride for Malcolms new team.

I though there was going to be like no road teams next year, now it sounds like it there will just be one big team, that should make for interesting racing.

Team of 3-4 riders only people, more sponsors, less money, better racing.

Really talented guys need not apply. Belgium is thadaway.

Shows you where sponsors see value and their ROI.

Not exactly.

Most guys who sponsor VETs tend to have a rider (or ride) in it... It is also A LOT less to sponsor a VETs team than an ELITEs team, like way less.

Absolutely, a corporate can pay R1m a season and get 30 sec of airtime on Supersport or R50k and get mentioned at corporate and networking events as well as social media reach to 10,000 users a month. Its all about ROI.
