Double thumbs-up for Chain Reaction Cycles

If the measure of a business is how it deals with a problem, CRC have shown themselves worthy of the title of the “world’s biggest on-line cycle retailer”.
 
I have dealt with CRC for about seven years now and for the first time had a problem with a product that was delivered and, as it was not something I could get locally, I needed it replaced rather than refunded.
 
Without going into all the detail, I was happy to pay towards the shipment of the replacement (and offered to do so) but CRC customer services made sure I was not out-of-pocket, and even tossed in something small I had intended to order.
 
I support the local industry and only use the internet  for things I cannot readily find here.  This experience again shows why CRC is my favourite online retailer and why it is the one I have stuck with.
 
They really do do things brilliantly.

Indeed. My 510 sole came loose recently and they will be replacing them. Awesome stuff

They started as a small bike shop that then did mail order on the side. It's amazing how they haven't lost such brilliant customer service while growing into a massive behemoth. Business school case study right there.

I once received the incorrect saddle, and they refunded me all the costs including the VAT I paid on the incorrect saddle and the postage back to Ireland.

Only have had good dealings with CRC. 

I feel they are giving good service . . . just as it should be.

We are so shocked about it because we have come to except bad service as the norm.  

 

Just like we think riding your bike in fear, wanting to carry a gun on the bicycle   and sleeping inside what is essential a jail every night is normal.
