Whats the WORST bike you've ever actually owned and ridden??

Everyone likes to show off their sexy new bikes or their restored retro fixis and bmx's....now I ask the simple question...

 

Whats the worst bike you've ever owned and why? Whats the worst? MTB, BMX or whatever.....pics are the evidence or it never happened?!?! lol

An R800 piece of crap Haro mountain bike from Saint Sports sometime in the early '90s. Bloody thing fell apart and I was just using it to get to work and back. Hated that bike.

It's a tossup between my chipper and my chopper.... think the chopper takes it though,.... by several broken bones...

For sure my makro special duel sus piece of pooh. Pedal fell off all the time and then fairly quickly things other things started to fall apart and break.

Rode a Dunlop stik *** on a holiday about ten years ago. We took it to a mild dirt road descent after numerous foaming beverages of brown persuasion. Looked like everyone was having such a jol I couldnt wait fot my go. Thats where the fun really started. The head tube snapped right off. Fork, bars and all! The payment was roasties from hell on the face and some broken fingers and bruised ego. We(same group of mates) laughed about it this December while we walked up that road.

When I decided I wanted to buy a bicycle dec 2012, my OH refused to let me buy a makro special, he went and got me this from complete cyclist.

Shame he got it so wrong...

Rigid steel bike he paid R1700 for, I hated the flowers on the saddle.

Didn't know it wasn't a 'proper' mountain bike - thought it had fat wheels so it must be...

Twist shifters which broke on the first proper ride, but it got me started and now it's in Malawi hopefully making someone else happy.

Giant TCR composite. Seat post creaked no matter what I did. Hated that bike so much I wanted to donate it to Juju.

mine as the GT zaskar hard tail. Think it was a 2009 or 2010.

Makro Raleigh special i bought to do my first Argus. Bought in December by the time i got to ride the Argus I had already replaced the wheels with an expensive set as they kept buckling and had a new chain fitted. During the Argus the V brakes fell apart and had to be reassembled at one of the WP. When i finished the pedals were so badly bent i could hardly pedal.

Mid '80's. Hanson top level road frame built by Hanson in Babelegi. Made from Reynolds 531. Very light, it nevertheless had no spirit or feeling. I dumped it after a few months.
