I have only recently started training for it., It's been a hectic year and my other excuse is all the cycling on TV.. I blame mostly Sagan and the Vuelta for my lack of training.. fortunately we are in for the 2day again.. so I should be okay.. going to enjoy the scenery and water points this year[emoji39]

I see you can pay an additional R350 for tented accommodation, the night before the race, but seems its for the 3 day events. Anyone know if you can do the same with the 2 day event2 day includes accomodation in the tent the night before

Yep, as far as I know. The shuttle actually works well cos you can leave stuff in your car and it will be parked at Emseni when you get there. The last time I left bike tools / spares and clothes in the boot so no need to lug it all in your bag.

And we aren't even in the same team [emoji38]Lol.. brilliant The sponsored beer we got at the luxury tent site last year was worth upgrading.. that and not waiting in lines to shower oh and hot water.. and the fact that the tents aren't on top of each other .. oh and sleeping on a bed... Yes indeed lots of little comforts. Obviously we booked a lux tent again.[emoji6]
sled Posted September 16, 2016 Posted September 16, 2016 Just been told I have the super privilege of riding sweep for all three events. Yeehaa!!!!! The Sled will be there to assist any problems along with the team in Yellow and Blue.
