Fantastic day for WP and Team Sky. After last weeks fourth place I'm really pleased with today.

What an awful day on the bike though. A breed apart for sure.

Well, that concludes an awesome Spring...

Not if you were outside in that yesterday... i was out running and seconding my wife on my mtb and we had sideways rain, hail, kapok, normal rain, wind, snow.... when i got back i watched LBL on the pvr and it was very familiar...never been that cold on a bike before.

Yeah i know you were talking about the Spring classics...spring Pfft....

Incredible race yesterday, as a viewer though I spent most of the day grinding my teeth to the repetitive droning on of Paul Sherwen. True to form we heard how 'when he raced', his ability to pronounce French riders etc. Maybe I'm just being unfair but it's getting very repetitive.

Depending on my mood i sometimes stream it in Dutch or French just not to hear him on Sky.

Him and Phil are useless and miss half of what's going on.. plus.. half the time they don't even know which rider is which. . I mean sigh.

Mute he TV and listen to live streaming commentary on eurosport or as said above even listening to it in Flemish is better than those 2.

I'd still rather have that than no coverage at all .... maybe I'm just a glass half full type of guy?

Seems they only do commentary for the ASO races .. or SS only get the Sky coverage for the ASO races..

But they tell us such nice stories Gen! :whistling:

Also getting a bit irritated by their droning on and on. I find that I enjoy the Aussie Matt Keenan a lot and is the only redeeming factor with the Sky broadcasting team.

For some of the midweek races they were using a different feed and their commentator was fine.

As for the Flemish/Dutch commentary, did you understand any of it?

Funny I find it difficult to get past the accent. Not so much understanding the words as much as actually hearing them especially when they start talking quickly.
