What a legend

A record 3 wins in this race

Another cool performance by Sags

Ettix had the numbers and couldn't take top spot. Certainly tried.

Did I miss a good race?

I've just arrived at my hotel in Girona, Spain, for a week of recce'ing the routes of the up-coming Volta Catalunya. Haven't been able to track the race while driving all day on the wrong side of the road :D.

Very good race

It really wound up in the last hour though

Lots of crashes

Lots of splits

Enjoy Espana

Apparently now he gets a gravel sector named after him. First rider to win 3 so first rider to get the honour. not sure of he gets to choose it though.

Safe to assume that the sector will be called Sparticus?

Great win by Spartacus! He's still pretty much in it this season.

Maybe he'll change his mind about retiring after Trek offers him a Lot of Benjamins post Paris Roubaix.

Bummer for our Ashleigh in the womens, getting DQ'ed for going under a closing gate on rail crossing.

Good for Lizzie tho .. no curse of the stripes on her

Have you read what she has to about it? Something like its a new rule, she was not aware ot it, and others in front of her got away with it. And she had just been working hard after falling off and a mechanical ...

"Moolman-Paiso was unaware of the rule changes instituted by the UCI in the wake of an incident at Paris-Roubaix last year"
