AdrianDJ Posted February 12, 2016 Posted February 12, 2016 So disappointed, all the fun sections have been left out (often running parallel to the legal sections), I see they have left those sections for the walkers, yet i have ridden the trails twice now since the signage has gone up and there are tons of walkers on the riding/walking side and ZERO walkers on the walking only sections. Its a start i realise but still a little disappointed.
gwhite Posted February 12, 2016 Posted February 12, 2016 so how much dog k@k is there on these trails? This is the mink and manure belt after all and we all know those larneys don't stoop to pick up doggie do-do.Only came across a frog on the path...
MTBeer Posted February 12, 2016 Posted February 12, 2016 Only came across a frog on the path...Would have thought Germans are more common there...
Bloukrans Posted February 12, 2016 Posted February 12, 2016 I did the loop from peddlars yesterday afternoon to Lower Tokai and back! To all those involved making this happen! THANK YOU!!!! I miss Tokai but "elke bietjie help!".
Wannabe Posted February 12, 2016 Posted February 12, 2016 If you link the different trails, how far (long) a ride can it turn into? Anybody willing to organise a ride day and show us chaps from the other side of the "Curtain" around?

Captain Fastbastard Mayhem Posted February 12, 2016 Posted February 12, 2016 So you can at least break a sweat.yeah. It's a lekker little route. It may be a little longer than that, as I'm only guesstimating. I normally cut it short to get home one of 2 routes, and by the time I get home, it's 19.8km or something and I've done the bits south of Peddlars. We'll see on sunday though.

Blackheart Posted February 12, 2016 Posted February 12, 2016 how long time wise does it take you?I started at Southern Cross Drive just off Rhodes drive, thats the Diep River Trail went through the Bel Ombre Trail just follow the signs through the Silverhurst Trail past Peddlars then took the main road to Tokai, into lower Tokai, across the little bridge onto the cycle path, back up through Strawberry Lane, up Brounger road (past peddlars),retraced my path back to Southern Cross Drive. I did get a bit lost...Garmin showed 24.2km, 375m climbing, 1hr16 min.
