I seem to have snagged a lastminute.com entry for the race  

 

Of course, we are now behind with admin and logistics.

The fist issue is the car transfer from Lourensford to Onrus. The service offered by Rotary is full with a long waiting list.

Are there any other alternatives?

Taking Thursday off work for some last minute prep and packing, friend has kindly offered us to stay at his place in Somerset West so an easy roll down to the start on Friday morning. First W2W, very keen!!

Can anyone given advice in terms of the boxes where our belongings will be placed into?

 

I am possibly thinking of cycling to the start with what I need, but just need to know how much I need to pack.

You don't get boxes. Chuck your bag on the truck at the start and on the morning of day 3. Collect at race village and again at the finish.

The bag you get on odd years is about right. Also for sale @ race village.

Riding first W2W this year and super excited.

 

A bit of late entry but given a good last minuite training effort. All about the gees. 

 

Ill be the one trying to breakeven on chops.

Lekker manne, ons ry ook die adv, sien baie uit. Hoop dag 3 is baie beter as laasjaar, ek het laasjaar baie erg afgechop op dag 3. Ons spannetjie is keen vir baie biere!!

Yip, I'm riding in my Savage bibs and day 1, and full Savage kit on Day 3. Have to respect Bicycling magazine and ride in their colours for the first two days. Oh ja, with a broken hand
