Did u remove the washers to make the pins longer?

I removed mine as without it felt a bit loose for me at that stage. Might be fine now tho since im more used to it.

Bam here they are

Solid choice there. Never got a chance to say it but my saints have been flawless since I bought them and they've seen me through some serious pedal strikes. I switched from plastic pedals to these and it made such a difference. Suddenly I was more in control than I'd ever been. Price of saints has gone up some. I bought mine for R650.

Got mine for exactly the same price

Just got back from my first ride with them and is very very different  (I will take out the spacers was a little to loose)   Wheelie and manuals are the same but bunny hops are super hard now also its a great feel on the decents ( I only did about 10km tho) happy thus far

Also noticed its very hard to keep up the spedd i previously did with clips  but It may be my shoes I rode with old VANS sneakers .

Excited to start riding with these they make my bike look so damn hot

Any tips on getting a pedal off easier, one came off easily, the other just doesn't want to budge. It's a 15mm spanner type.

Put the spanner on but make sure its on tightly ( put a rubber band in between the spanner if needed)   Then put the other pedal back in the crank and place it inbetween the gap made by the bricks in your wall , finaly put a pvc or steel pipe over the spanner and gently start aplying pressure ( if the spanner starts to bend then you have a big problem

Also try adding some lube like puple extreme gets in everywhere or something corosive like q20

also make sure you are turning in the right direction  i.e. the pedal wil turn out in the opposite direction that you pedal

Yah, got it off. Struggled for over 2 hours last night ( granted with the wrong tools) went around begging from family for a spanner today. I still don't have the physical strength though - OH and a mallet got it.

Took a quick spin around the parking lot - I love them. Feels great, light, grippy and I like the bigger surface area.

Thanks all for the recommendations, tips :)

i don't second giant flats... mine had seriously large spikes which has left massive canyons in my shins and they ate through a pair of 5-10 soles like it was nobody's business.

I'd go with saints from the start

Firstly, the soles aren't stiff enough which will cause your feet to fatigue on longer rides.

Then, after a few months when the soles are torn to shreds you will realise the value of a cycle specific flat shoe. I have a pair of 5-10 Impact Low's which are still going strong with minimal wear after 4 years.

And don't forget the reinforced toe box. Toe punting rocks is no fun in skate shoes.
