Frosty Posted April 1, 2016 Author Posted April 1, 2016 YES YES YES!!!! Edit: Oh crap, I will be AT the Giro, so probably wont have lots on internet and cant play Lekker - enjoy. I was lucky to see a bit of the TT in Amsterdam in 2010 (had to get to the airport to come home from a business trip, so I missed most of it that day). I'll be in Clarens for the first weekend - so updating will be a challenge.Hopefully I can rope Nick & Admin in between now and then to also run a test for the Tour. edit: Hint! Hint!
Frosty Posted April 5, 2016 Author Posted April 5, 2016 Provisional Start list is available on ProcyclingStats website. This Grand Tour is not run by ASO, and the information is a little harder to get/download.
Frosty Posted April 14, 2016 Author Posted April 14, 2016 After some correspondence with Admin, the Fantasy Giro will be a test for the Fantasy Tour, which means the scoring will still be done through Google Sheets, but hopefully your team picks can be made in the same way as last year's Tour - through the form submitted on the bikehub. Most of the scoring will remain as is, except that we removed the points for the "In the Break" and will only be awarding points for riders in the break, that FINISH ahead of the peloton. Most of the team line-ups still need to be finalised, and could be done as late as the team presentation the day before the Giro starts. Seems a lot like online entries for a race - that mad rush at the end. edit: added link to Google Sheets.

Gnarly Posted April 14, 2016 Posted April 14, 2016 Ace, Looking forward to this again, even though i suck balls at it. Well done G.
Frosty Posted April 21, 2016 Author Posted April 21, 2016 15 days to go... This is going to be the usual last minute rush to get entries in, and not helped by the fact that I'll be in Clarens (Maluti Double 90) on the first weekend. Team line ups are filling up slowly - check ProcyclingStats.com for the provisional start list. Once your picks are made and everything is in place, then the rest can be completed by anyone with access to the scoreboard (Google Sheets) and results. Obviously I will keep an eye on the system. Remember that the scoring system is a test for the Fantasy Tour, which will hopefully roll out for all Tours. Looks like the start time is 12:00 (local time), so it means the cut-off for team submissions will be 12:00 on Friday, 06 May 2015.
