I think that's a good decision, not because I think they won't give you a new fork that's better, but I think mentally you would always wonder if the RS would have been better.

yea very sweet. Smooth ,small bump was excellent as well as bigger hits (got lost and did a section called " pylon rocky drop" ) Very impressed felt similar in its reactions to my 140 stage. It's more than likely the way I will go. But it doesn't have that racer feel to it like the fox would. And that's my dilemma or should I say hesitation. . But otherwise it's a cracking piece of equipment and worth every cent.

Is there anyone who can say what the fox should actually feel like?

Sounds like Russel setting it up could end up as a great fork. I have read some glowing reviews on it.

The other side is the once bitten, twice shy thing...

I havent yet seen someone upgrading to the fit4 cartridge and NOT enjoying it or saying it's a brilliant upgrade. From this, I can reliably say that (when working) it's a brilliant fork. Dunno how it compares to a Rev, but then I would always go Rev over 32

What could he possibly do that could improve the fork that much?

Adjustments to the shim stack (controlling small bump sensitivity) adjusting the performance through different weight oils or different oil volumes, setting the pressure and rebound just right and and and.

damn sounds tempting, but it's that thing that once you've had a bad experience it's kinda hard to believe there after.

Makes sense. But I would still take that refund

Miles beat me to it. There is a ton that can be done to tune forks that someone who really knows their stuff can do.

Yeah thats the thing people have been very happy wit fit4 upgrades.

The review I watched last night on the 34 vs pike said it was different but as good as the pike, which is really something.

Point is that its the fit4 that they are carrying on about and saying its really good.

I think Pikey is doing the right thing though, if he likes the MRP then its probably the one to go for.

I just cant get over thinking about Mr Price whenever I see that name :D

Know very little about suspension tuning. I ride a 100mm RS Reba, so for me it's just mik en druk basically
