yes, but we know you like to swop things, so now your bike is younger lighter and fitter.

and you're more experienced!

I've just looked at that profile and think that hill at the end is quite cruel...

Really getting excited for this! Its just around the corner now. The thought of starting a ride at 17:00 in the afternoon and riding into the night excites me!

I like this format too! Although the sleep monster is going to attack sooner than a format like TransBaviaans where one has had a good nights sleep before starting.

Anyone downloaded the GPX route file and transferred it to your device yet?

Did mine on the Garmin Edge 820, it shows the map and distance etc but absolutely no elevation detail??

Anyone have a similar problem?

I'm surprised that you know what tapering is.

Now I understand why that MonsterCross bike has become your new best friend and it's not even a SPAZ.

Someone told me the other day I should look at less as 'tapering' and more as 'peaking'

I think you and I are in a similar boat.

For me the peaking part seems to be a myth.

I'm sure you'll do very well at C2T.

You've put in some serious mileage.

I think for me its more the body taking strain then the legs.. so we'll see...

As long as the mind in strong you'll be ok.

I'm a roadie so I don't really know what I'm talking about though
