Maak my so kwaad ek borsvoed sommer 'n krokodil  :cursing:  - never mentioned in any rules!

"Just to confirm again... this is a mountain bike event so it has to be done on a mountain bike. No cyclocross bikes will be allowed on the route."

Please has anyone else seen this up to now and if so where, if it has I accept it and it's my mistake

First time I see it.

I was considering CX bike but changed my mind after chatting to someone familiar with route and night time riding.

My intention was to just use MTB wheels instead of my normal 35mm ones .....

Suppose they will have a moan about the bars then if you're using MTB tyres

Did your mates say a hardtail or full suspension would be better?

Forecast is 100% rain for Friday and Saturday and cold weather with max at 15 to 16 C.

Not looking forward to a ultra long wet ride.

That's just being stupid...  I think more and more people are looking at events like this to be able to use their CX bikes.

I'm with JanJan on this one... "I don't have FB, so how am I supposed to know"
