"Just to confirm again... this is a mountain bike event so it has to be done on a mountain bike. No cyclocross bikes will be allowed on the route." Fat Boab Posted April 12, 2017 Posted April 12, 2017 Nothing explicitly prohibiting CX, not monster-cross, bikes in the rules (https://www.c2tmtb.co.za/race-rules), nor compliance to CSA rules, which would catch the drop bar rule. But they've the usual catch-all of the Race Director's ruling is final.
