I need some advice on which is a better option for a stationery trainer - rollers or mag trainer

 

budget is limited and just looking to keep legs supple

I'm sure there are pros and cons for both.

I see most of the pro riders warming up/cooling down on mag trainers nowadays if that's a meaningful guide.

You could get a pretty nifty winter kit for the price of a trainer. If winter has scared you that is!

Winter jackets are expensive...

 

Rollers need more concentration to stay upright so may keep you more engaged in the session.

Last time I checked a good quality winter jacket was cheaper than an entry level trainer.

 

Add some gloves and thermal leggings and you're good to go.

i needed a catchy line for some response, thanks for the input - sorry i didn't mention i'm a roadie ( mostly ) so wet road markings and taxi's make indoor trainers look like a safer bet.
