Or buy a R35 adaptor at any bike shop

Yeah this. Ryder one in my box of triX.

Or.... grind down the valve cap that the presta valve came with, and press the Schrader inflation fitting against it. Works similar to the adapter.

I bought a compressor tyre inflators with a gauge that has about 30cm rubber pipe to a shrader connector. I then took an old foot bicycle pump that had a nice dual head on it. Cut off the old connector and joined them with connector and Jose clamps. Works a charm. Can pump up all the wheels in the house. [emoji106][emoji106]

I did a similar thing - took a dual head pump hose (R50-00) and pressed the long nozzle from an air gun into the tube.  No gauge but works a treat.

The only painful thing about screw on adapters is that when you take the core out they have less threads to bind on(the core makes up the majority of thread)

Not sure if you have to remove the core to seat them initially with a compressor though as I dont have one.

I have a custom core - drilled out - then I just epoxied it into an adaptor (permanent) and put the normal core back when I am done.

Works just fine, if a bit McGyver

But - if you want to buy an adapter - Birzman make one, and Robodog will sell you one if you ask nicely - I keep meaning to ask nicely so I can have a better solution
