You can try ask for a seeding, but the organizers can't promise anything.

That's the advantage of entering before online entries close.

Are there lot more entries than the satellite classic? Satellite I was seeded BL and had a good rideand improved my index. Carnival city seeded DL??

My wife was also in BL for Satellite Classic and now in EL for Carnival. Her times this year was basically the same as last year, so the field must be bigger and/or better

Once race numbers are sent by SMS/Email - please let me know (or reply in this thread).

Anyone wanting to check their start time can go to http://results.racetec.co.za/results.aspx?sid=0:

  • type in your Surname and Name, click on search;
  • If there is more than one person with the same name , find your birthday;
  • Click on View Results;
  • The start time will show near the top of the page.

MTB event won't show a time/start batch, but it should be as follows:

  • 07:00 - 60Km (A batch)
  • 07:05 - 60Km (everyone else)

  • 07:30 - 30Km

  • 08:00 - 12Km
  • 08:05 - 6Km

If any parent is concerned about their kid riding on their own (6km event), one parent is allowed to ride/walk with - helmet is compulsory.

Note: a number board won't be given to the parent unless they entered the 12Km distance. This is purely for peace of mind, and perhaps the safety of the kiddies.
