I am compelled to say the Epic is very far down on my list.

Here's one that is very doable the 1 Zambia mtb race, beers on the sand bar in the middle of the lower Zambezi river at prize giving after 3 days of amazing rugged riding for the win...

Locally, the All Out Adventure trails in the Drakensberg is #1 on my pleasant surprise list.

Some fantastic riding to be had there, especially the red route.

Did a lot of that route in the dark, when it was raining having not selpt in 36 hours trying to nav with a map, but they are awesome trails...

I like what you are saying... there is some amazing riding in our country. The next trip we are putting together is a 8day tour through the Wild Coast (Port Edward to Morgan bay)
