If I was in the area with a bike I would definately ride it again. Rooi Els is just plain strange though. What they call a breeze there I call a hurricane.

(I have been blown off my bike 3 times on that road, thankfully each time ended with me living to tell the tale!)

Not bad. I am lucky enough to have driven and cycled all three.
swiss Posted August 18, 2016 Posted August 18, 2016 Cycle that route almost daily, never had any issues. Be aware, there is always wind......and always from the front Finish it off with the Steenbras Dam climb on your way back, and voila a great ride!!
