Help with shock please

I have a Rockshox monarch on my bike. It is making a knocking noise when fully open, like something is loose. I have checked all the pivot points and they are tight. The noise goes away when I move the dial to "pedal" setting.

 

Any idea what could be causing it?

I think the Monarch needs to go in for a service/repair. If it was shock bushings it would surely knock in the pedal setting too.

Send it to the agent with proof of purchase, if it's less than 2 years old they'll replace it. It's an issue with the piston and reasonably common.
