SLX deraileur on 11spd

Has anyone tried using an SLX Clutch deraileur from a 10spd setup on an 11spd cassette ???

Are you going to buy an 11 speed shifter? Or do you just plan on using 10 of the 11 gears?

yes 11spd shifter

You might be able to get it to work, but it's never going to run smooth like a 11 speed derailleur would. Deraulleur geometries are slightly different, so even though you'll have an 11 speed shifter pulling the cable, the derailleur won't be moving the exact right amount. Never mind the fact that 11 speed derailleurs were designed to go up to 42+ teeth and 10 speed only designed to go up to 36+. I think you could make it work but it will be finicky and not ideal.

It should work but you will need an 11spd chain and a 11spd shifter if you want to use all of the 11 gears.

looks like you might need to add a spacer for an 11spd cassette.
