Berry Posted November 15, 2016 Author Posted November 15, 2016 W2w was the best ride i had in my 10 jrs of cycling. Day 1 was bad for me. I bonked at 40km and cried all the way home. Day 2 and 3 was good fun. Will be back next year.

WrightJnr Posted November 16, 2016 Posted November 16, 2016 Ooooh. Where to start? Another awesome event this year. Definitely can see the drought in the area. Trails were very dry and rocky. Dams were noticeably lower. Changes in the route were well done, much happiness especially on the last day where they afkak you in the last 10km which for most was just a bit much. Food was amazing as always. Clothing was a disaster. Riding shirts were smaller sizes and jackets larger. Strange because the shirts were Craft and they should have been consistent. Jackets were adidas so no benchmark. Quality great though. I'd say that Specialized and Cannondale own the bike market for the ride I did. Lots of girl teams, great to see and they haul ass. I didn't find it too technical and the distances are spot on. An awesome event and I can't wait for 2017. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

mxjunke Posted November 17, 2016 Posted November 17, 2016 I think the reason why they not the same sizing is that Salire did the riding tops this year for W2W therefore the cut is different to the Craft tops from previous years. Lots of people were complaining about the sizing of both the riding jerseys and the Adidas jackets this year. There were lots of riders that got clothing that didn't fit and there weren't enough extras to exchange sizes for everyone. The event (adventure) itself was fantastic and the weather played along for us as well.
