Ive been using a local product called Fug-it for years and no problems at all.

Sometimes one must be careful not to over analyse matters and to rather just ride your bicycle!

I believe any latex bassed sealant will use a small amount of ammonia to stabilize the latex - i looked at the Stans Material safety data sheet and it does not even mention Ammonia.

The amount of ammonia in Stans and other latex sealants is not very high and certainly not hazardous when used as intended.

This stuff works for me.

Best feature, easy to clean the stuff off the rims when it needs replacing.

As for not using sealant in tubeless and going with a plug? that's a crap idea, got about 20 tiny holes the other day from devil thorns, this stuff sealed them up no problem, plug would not have been an option.

Loads of good sealants out there, and honestly the warranty thing, I would not worry about it. What I would advise is that you make sure that you are able to re-seat that bead if you are out on the trail and you get a flat, not always as easy as it sounds. I take a tube and a pump and that's never let me down.

Just a bit of feedback..

I got hold of a Ammonium free sealant made be Sludge

LBS had to poor out some of the stock they use for the shop (5l bottle)

You can defintely smell there is no Ammonium in it,and yes also labelled "Ammonium free"

The shop owner mentioned though that they have never had issues even with Ammonium based sealants in Maxxis tyres and that this sealant is more to do with Carbon rims etc.

But I just took some anyway
