How donating blood affects performance

I definitely effects me for about 5 days after, I feel weak compared to fresh, donating my 100th unit tonight.

Um,,,, Are you donating your blood or someone elses? Your profile pic is concerning.

We're not talking about donating to yourself here, are we? :ph34r:  :whistling: 

Why else would one have blood drawn in weeks before a tour if your not going to use it in the third week? :eek:

I was declined three weeks before the Argus, felt it was a bit excessive.

My blood pressure is always closer to the 140 mark than 120 and my Iron is always around 16-17. 

 

Never noticed anything after donating but I rest for at least a day. But then again I'm one of your slower riders going up, and gravity does the job down :)

I am a sort of casual regular donor and on about 50 now. I don't really feel any ill effects but then I weight a 100 so there must be a lot there. I also tend to chill for the rest of the day and eat a lot of their cookies and drink their kool aid.
