33 riders in the break with no SKY riders. They clearly have some sort of plan to try and tempo today all the way till the end.

All this talk of how Louis needs to change team first. The man first needs to show his worth. Once he does that the better teams will come for him. I remember when Pinot and Quintana started out, they made you take notice of them. Even Contador as a youngster, despite doping, made you take notice of them. Louis is not doing this I'm afraid. This last week will show us what Louis is made of and whether he'll end up with a bigger team ala Trek Segafredo or a similar level team like a Bahrain Merida for instance.

5min lead over peloton at the Base of the first HC climb... probably not enough...

Eish, can Maincheese, just for once, not get in a break and stir things up a bit.....

But NOOOOOooooo, he stays in the bunch, looking at CF's back wheel.

Contador accelerated and Quintana couldn't stick with him, so he slowed down... then a couple of minutes he accelerated again and Quintana didn't respond.

Contador has three team mates up the road to assist...

Big day for El Pistolero...?
