Hoping to catch them somewhere next week :-) Edit: Incidentally, one of the weirdest things to do is to watch them in a village with a bar (so any French village then), then after they go by you go in and watch them on TV. Seeing what you just saw live, on TV with commentary def feels a bit odd.

GrumpyOldGuy Posted July 3, 2017 Posted July 3, 2017 Apart from the last 5 kms I thought it was a dead boring stage typical of the TDF, long, boring and slow, I had to go check the TV timetable to see I wasn't watching last years Argus. The poor commentator had to babble on trying to make out all sorts of things were brewing to try and keep the attention, when in fact everyone was simply cruising along in the sun chatting to each other. Hope tomorrow is more interesting.
