Hi there Hubbers,

I know this might be a very k@k question but believe me it irritates the crap out of me.....

I have Look S-Trac pedals on my MTB but the laste few weeks while training my shoes is making a squeeking noise everytime I put power to the pedal?

Anyone had this experience before?

My cleats is correctly fitted but I cant find the problem.

Please help

Cleat on pedal IMO

it could also be the springs moving with some grit.

When I still rode S-tracks every 3 months I would take off both springs and clean everything well and while I had them out I would bend them back a little (vice+'waterpomp tang' ) tiny amount of grease on the springs and put everything back together. They run quiet and the cleat engagement feels much stiffer there after. :)

Just get a proper t10 tool to avoid stripping the screws.

Also have this problem, but with Shimano M520 pedals.

clean with light degreaser and put a little bit (emphasis on little ) grease on the springs ,works great for my XT trails
