So how is everyone going?  It is the 99er race in CT this weekend and I have been shoved into %

I am absolutely terrified.

Week 1.5 of 8 week training plan under way. Not nervous yet, haven't done any serious climbing since 947. Seriously stoked for this weekend. Having family down there makes accommodation etc. so much easier. Hope leave gets approved!

Jis and I had hubby chirping from the couch..if I had any energy left I would've chucked him with something[emoji6]

He likes sitting down and chirping wait till we go out on a ride and I will punish him for his comments.

Few of our guys from East Coast cycling will be riding the route, starting from Midmar.

We plan to be on the road from about 5-5:15 am.

Pace will be easy, guessing around 24km avg.

Come join us.

A trip or two to the reserve will sort that out - although the elevation gain on this event is misleading. Lots of undulations, and some steep gradients but lots of bumps below 4% (yellow and green bands).

I'm a tentative (and silent) maybe. Will need to see how things go next week. Being a full-time bum, I have obligations. I had scheduled couch time for the 18th.
