and will traverse a varied topography through the beautiful South African countryside. The event will be held under race conditions meaning, just like on Le Tour de France, the route is dedicated to the rider on fully-closed roads.

 

If it is was it says it is, it will be awesome, lets hope its near Cape Town :P

Apparently ASO is launching a L'Étape SA where local riders can do a Tour de France stage right here in SA.

 

On a Zwift or Tacx video perhaps?

Is there any idea yet of where this might be held? I'd love to do it but I can't enter without knowing any specifics, It might interfere with my exam schedule

My original guess was the Cape... 

But, the .ics download from the site has the following included under location: 

LOCATION: Midlands -KZN/South Africa

Ag tog....another one of Mr Lavern's rides probably....

R1000 plus entry for sure  (Remember Vets Worlds warra warra?)

And bad roads.

 

But lets see first before I judge....
