Anyone know what mechanical support means en route? Can we expect neutral service vehicles like in TdF or just roving mechanics.... will most likely sway my decision on tubbies vs clincher.

Where do you see the start list Gerald? Couldn't find it on the site.

Inside information - it's not published anywhere currently.

As Gen said, I have spies that I can turn to when I need certain information.

You need one of these, it sometimes helps...  :whistling:

You know us Ortho's arent very clever. I only know a few drugs and none of them will be any treat to use.

Try a Valoron/Ketalar combo.....  will at the very least be interesting.....

(medicallly speaking anyway)

With regards to the disk brakes... well done for challenging it, and getting them to issue the statement.

As someone involved in organising a race, I wouldn't hesitate, one second, to tell the CSA Officials where to go, if they want to impose a ban on disk brakes... for non-licensed categories. It's a different story for licensed, as they do have jurisdiction for those categories.

Ok, I am in

Will be 5 weeks after operation, so should be ok... only seeing my orthopod on 11 April again, so please don't crash into me....

Now to break the news to the wife that I will be riding before I am "allowed too"

If you guys don't hear from after this evening, its been real, had fun, please put up a ghost bike for me, report her to the police!

Damn it, I go for a sneaky ride and I come back and I've missed the key swag from divvying up former Hubber Patch's (RIP) bike room. I call for a do-over!! :whistling:

I'll second that.

My Ortho took the very large amount of cash I gave him last March and put it into an Epic entry. Or two. Mid February he went over the bars and now has a nice titanium plate on his clavicle.  And no Epic.

A lay person would think Orthos of all people would know the dangers of riding to crash point prior to an event.

Yup she does. I tried "sheltering" her from the truth, but I forgot she handles our admin, and she looked at our policy schedules, she saw the sum insured.... she bought a new car.

She won't sell my bikes if you guys off me, she loves me too much, or so she says
