Credit card or EFT?If by credit card, it's a reversal of the original transaction, so the notification will be the same as you got when paying for your entry. Have you got more than one email address?Where do you receive your confirmation of entry?Check you spam folder As some guys have said above, it's an email from VCS. At this point, it's an email only - but no funds in the credit card. If you did an EFT, then you have to deal direct with the organisers, and not Cycle Events.

I'll wait the usual 24-48 hours before it reflects (when I transfer funds into the account).

VCS runs a daily settlement process where all the transactions for individual vendors get settled. The money then gets paid to the company the next day. The funds will not show as available until your bank has processed the credit from VCS which will not happen until the daily settlement has been processed. But I repeat, IF VCS say they have credited you then it's just time, the money WILL show, it's not a con.
