Just because I don't like him doesn't mean that I am going to not enjoy his skill as a racer. He read the race well and deserved to win.

Making a call on retirement is probably the hardest decision any pro sportsman or woman can make. And it can be easy to see this as a run of rotten luck especially if everything has been going well in training. Body can only take so much punishment and Cav has been luckier than most with crash related injuries. Only Cav will know if this is because he isn't up to racing or if it really is just a case of really rotten luck.

Lots being said about Cav because of the luck he is having...the man is only 32..and believe me if you a sprinter and you still in front in MSR after 290km there is absolutely nothing wrong with the body..absolutely nothing!!!Only about 3 other pure sprinters in the world left with him in front with only Ewan remotely in his league..

Thing about Cav is you can bet on it he is going to make his legs do the talking and win big soon..like always.

Sad to see some of the crap people are getting up to noe just because they font like him.

All riders have bad patches..this one is very baf because of the nature of some of the crashes.

People should remember that he is a accomplished track rider and a brilliant bike handler..

Hope to see him go big soon..DD needs it big time right now.

Congrats to Nibs..that was one win I wont forget soon!!!close to the best for me at MSR.

Big up also for Demare and Ewan!!Great ride by them and their teams!

On the day you either had the legs to follow Nibs or you had to be quicker than Ewan..no one left in bunch could match or outsmart them ..so basically it was Ewan versus Nibs and the climber won!!Pure sprinter versus pure climber..not every day you get a race that can deliver that.
