Titleist Posted January 12, 2018 Posted January 12, 2018 I've recently upgraded my Top Fuel 8 to a Top Fuel 9. Here it is at Hoogekraal. I've added the following to it: 1. Extra chunky grips2. Bontrager dropper post3. 28T chain ring. Who needs an eagle anyway? This mod was R12k cheaper for the same result. I haven't lost any top end and I can reach 45km/h easily. I'm still in two minds about how the Rockshox compares to the Fox that was on the TF 8. I love the remote lockout on the TF 9 though. And those saying that SLX brakes = XT. You don't know what you are talking about. XT brakes are so much better on fast downhills. They don’t fade as quick as the SLX ones.
