Although, these things look seriously cool!

The shifter is innovative, and the ability to rebuild it is priceles.

The last time someone built a rebuildable shifter was what? Like '08 Ergos?

2011-2014 11spd

Rebuildable as in 'this spring is broken, luckily I have its model number and can order it on its own'?

I havent broken a spring and not sure if a spring is even available for 11spd but it can be repalced as i have stripped mine apart to reburbished the levers and greased up everything again courtesy of a youtube video.

I also took the RD completely apartment and re-assembled it with new grease however i couldn't remove the pivot bolt (apparently its a 2 piece jobbie) that needs a specific tool which i cant get hold of anywhere.

The thing that I found odd was the description about SRAM and Shimano. The narrator refered to SRAM as light and clicky and Shimano as heavy and clunky...To me it is the other way around...

Anyway, the answer for me is no. I will stick to what works. Shimano cassettes and chains. SRAM shifters and RD.

Why change if what you have does the job?

Noticed the same and I think that is the general consensus. SRAM = heavy and clunky; Shimano = light and clicky. Both work great, but have very different shift feels.

Yes, and also, Campa is suuuuper reliable, but you can't order individual parts as far as I know, only in kits

That 'special' tool you couldn't find, it's called a flat screwdriver. Been there, done that :whistling:

Campy don't even do a mtb setup so they are out and will never be in.

Who said so?

And with this one, you get hubs, brakes, cassette, front and rear mechs, bb AND a crankset
