Where is the best place to get a lens only ? Looking for a photochromic to use for early rides.

dunno but that's a SUPER lens - good choice.

I bought a spare lens from Complete Cyclist in bedford. Can't remember what it costs though.

Otherwise any store stocking oakley will be able to order.

Most retailers are clueless or just plain lazy.

sadly when it comes to selling Oakley products, to get replacement parts - lenses is a nightmare! their backup is shocking...once i tried for 3 months to get some lenses for a client!

If you ever want Polarised lenses, then try Revant Optics - they're USA-based and much cheaper than local.

Unfortunately, they just don't do transition/photochromic lenses.

was checking it out this morning. Will look at getting something new from them, prices not too bad.

I ordered some polarised lenses from Revant Optics in December, after being quoted nearly 2k locally. Man these guys are awesome and would not let me go, until I finished the transaction, having left the items in my basket for two days. They offered me two discounts and delivered promptly to my holiday destination in the USA.

If you are considering an order to SA, I would be keen to join in and split shipping with you.

The polarised lenses are just great.

I am also looking at some prescription glasses and have a question surrounding the Polarized lenses. what does hubland say? Should I go for Polarized or not?

Apparently I cannot get photocromatic and polarized...?

some help will be appreciated.

cool will let you know if I'm going to order anything. First need to get sorted with this Photochromic lens or a new pair of Radar EV's, only problem is they are R2900 a pop

Polarized are great at reducing glare, I have some for driving, the only downside is that certain LCD type displays cannot be seen through them, so check first to ensure your Garmin or whatever is readable through them.
