Customs issue

Good day guys, my first order from CRC I got in three days for a rad cage. I then ordered a strap for my Garmin watch and I get this from the tracking:

I have tried phoning EMS but no one picks up, any idea who I can phone or is normal for them to hold parts this long? sorry I'm a newbie at bringing things over.

Customs clearly are having issues, we just had an item held there for quite a while too.

I ordered stuff from CRC 2nd week of December and only received it 2nd week of January. Previously it used to take about a week. Maybe Christmas backlog or changing over to Africa time

Same thing happened last year this time. It resolved around April, or thereabouts.

Looks Like DHL obviously have contacts at customs my order took 5 days from CRC to my door 2 of those days being weekend.(two weeks ago)

this from Splat "I placed my order with CRC on Tuesday morning & chose DHL for delivery.
DHL sent an SMS last night requesting payment, which I did this morning and the parcel arrived at 2:00 this afternoon.
That must be some kind if record!"

 

But it could now be First paycheck of the year purchases ,,,, orders all stuck at customs

Thats the issue I always have with DHL. They only contact when they want to charge you storage fees. I dont use them anymore.
