I think someone on the Hub noted that Noah doesn't write his own stuff; he delivers what is written and scripted for him. Made me consider what he says differently and, to be honest, I very rarely watch him.

You mean on the daily show? No one does that. They have a whole staff who researches and writes the content. Same goes for John Oliver. I'm not a big fan of Trevor... But those clips of him interacting with the crowd during ad breaks etc.. Thats all him off the cuff

I think a lot of South Africans have changed their views on him since he started calling out trump and supporting BLM etc.

Jaja.....

Nothing to do with the fact he is just not that funny anymore?

Yes I am sure it might have SOMETHING to do with people not finding him funny anymore. I never said it had NOTHING to do with that. Absolutism is boring.

I find him “less funny” since he has become a political commentator. He has dropped from a 8/10 to maybe a 6/10 for me. But still funny, to me.

Why don’t you find him funny anymore, seeing that you state it as a fact?

As I said above..I think his humour is slowly becoming Americanised

I agree with you.

For me it is also a little awkward when people move to a country and then immediately rag on it. He isn’t wrong with a lot of what he says, but it’s never reconciled well.

Jim Jeffries also has lots of opinions on the US, but he somehow brings them across a little less ‘protesty’ and he has lived there for some time. Just as a comparison.
