Dinsdagmiddag in Grootbrak.I was coming downhill like a rocket ( a careful ,slow sort of rocket) . Saw the hills opposite the finish on fire. Helicopter throwing water. Fire went between some houses but i don't think anything burnt down. Main street at a standstill as he scooped the water from the river right there.All peaceful and waiting for us to finish. And the weather ? This is a part of the route after the small tar section two Sundays ago. Trust that we all , myself at the back, will be ok. Edited January 11, 2018 by Blokman

Die plantasies op die pad tussen die twee? Na die klim uit WP 3 uit ? Moet hoog op Dryland se lys wees . Ek is seker hul gee aandag.

Can confirm: current predictions are for some rain, breezy SE'er and cool temps.Wouldn't mind those conditions at all....except for the headwindBUT, it's too far away to be really reliable.Will update a few days before.... timhoek 1
