I will be having a look at their setup and how they use shortly. In the mean time. What is this all about ? What are the advantages/uses ? What should I be looking at/for during this visit ? PS - I use a PC, they are running an Apple setup. Companion app FTW. I had a keyboard setup when in the earlier days of Zwift, but the app is just so much more user friendly. Frosty Posted July 7, 2023 Share My example of switching between ERG and Incline mode during a workout. BTW, the keyboard is there because two buttons (K, L) don’t work on my 2013 MacBook. mecheng89, ChrisF and mikkelz

From what I understand, it's more than just choosing left/right/straight for routes whilst out on a course. Curious to hear firsthand!
mikkelz Posted July 7, 2023 Share Has anyone tried the climb portal? I gave two of the climbs a go this morning. I actually really enjoyed it. The "lack" of scenery didn't make any difference to me – in fact, the color-graded road based on gradient kept me pretty engaged the entire time. Would recommend! BuffsVintageBikes Posted July 7, 2023 Share I tried the Col D'Aspin on Tues evening and really enjoyed it. The colour gradient worked well for allowing gear selection, especially just before hitting those red sections☠️ 🤙 mikkelz
mikkelz Posted July 7, 2023 Share Nice! I did Col d’Aspin this morning – also enjoyed it. And then did Cote de Trebiac afterwards as I needed a few more drops for a new set of wheels. 😄 BuffsVintageBikes
Frosty Posted July 7, 2023 Share I’ve always done the VenTop route because of me using the free 25km per month. Get to ride 3-4 times doing about 8km each time. Haven’t noticed the new climbs yet, but might try it out the week after next. mikkelz

They might open it up after the Tour is done. https://zwiftinsider.com/climb-portal/ Frosty

Whatever is available from 16-27 July is what I'm then limited to. mecheng89
dexterdent Posted July 9, 2023 Share All of the climbs are available all the time during July (or during the TDF, not sure). Just use the challenge banner to select. I've done 5 out of the 8 and planning to do all - did the Tourmalet twice today as it was too wet outside and I'm tired of punctures. I don't care about the lack of scenery as I watch youtube on one half of the screen anyway Sandro and Frosty
