Hands-down the best wheels I've ever ridden. I've ridden these everywhere: SA races, hardcore European races, Belgian kermiskoers, on cobbles, on gravel, on smooth roads, in gale winds, in wet conditions, in blistering heat, up mountain passes (the big French ones), down them too.

Now, not trying to brag about where I've ridden my bike, but I want to point out that these wheels are amazing. They roll like Zipps and are as bulletproof as a wheelset can come (it's even used for Cyclocross). I will quite personally get a trophy crafted for you if you manage to damage them. I once broke a spoke in a crash during a training and had to do another 100km to complete the ride. Held up without an issue whatsoever!

Pretty light at 1500g, but not the lightest. I am currently running mine as tubeless (Vittoria  Corsa tubeless-ready @205g per tyre). This easily knocks off 200g for inner tubes and are virtually puncture proof (been running the same setup on training wheels for 6 months without a puncture). I wouldn't run any wheel as tubeless, but these are tubeless compatible, so it makes up for the extra weight. I can't rave about tubeless enough:
- Virtually puncture proof
- No pinch-flats
- Significant weight-saving
- Rolls faster than tubbies and clinchers!

AND! They are usually about R25k locally.

I'm heading off to Europe soon, so if you're not in a rush, I could hypothetically pick up a set for you and hypothetically bring it back. ;) Just send me a PM!

German quality, up there with the best.

Anyone have the new Mavic's

Going onto the waiting list to try them out. Riding Token C50's so should be able to provide a good comparison.

May only be after Letape. Don't wanna mess around with anything now.

On a C60. Definitely Campaq Bora Ultra. I've had the 50mm tubs and now on the 35 mm clinchers. They really are the best clinchers out there. Point

Who is the agent for Colnago in SA? Where did you buy your C 60. Awesome bike. Enjoy it

Great idea, but please don't run Campag Bora if you don't have a Campag groupset!

Would love to hear what guys running V1-R have to say about the Colnago direct mount brakes. From pics it actually looks like a Campy skeleton brakeset.
