mid range meaning i don't wanna spend 15k on a pair of shoes,

I've tried various brands(Shimano, Sidi, Specialized, Lake etc.), and have to say that the specialized shoes are by far the most comfortable and longest lasting out of the lot I have owned.

The range starts at about R1500 (IIRC) for the sport model and ends at the S-Works model just below R6000. Choose whatever fits your budget, and you will not be sorry.

I can second this - Spez shoes are very comfortable. Have owned some on both ends of the price spectrum, and have been very happy on all occasions.

Well then don't expect to get much, can't get anything good for less than R10k these days.

Really? Hope that this is a tongue in cheek comment?

Yes it was.

If you say you "I don't want to spend R15k on shoes" when asked how much you want to spend, expect an appropriately useful response.

so take 15k x mid range = 7.5 k  see the logic ,

Haha sorry all good - some of the strongly MAMIL clan would agree with you in all seriousness...
