Has anybody here built their own "workshop stand" to work on their bicycles ? I am looking at a "tube clamp" type - http://www.bikeradar.com/gear/article/how-to-choose-a-workstand-buyers-guide-41327/ Manufacturing that tube clamp from scratch may be tricky without access to a lathe, but should be do-able .... Would love to see pics of your projects.

mitsu Posted April 11, 2017 Posted April 11, 2017 I built my own stand out of scraps lying around the workshop. Not fancy or pretty but seriously strong. A good project to tackle.

Ek het ook 'n cwc Tork (die tool brand) stand en is baie gelukkig daarmee.

Jip, guilty as charged .... so jy WEET hoe ek hou van speel in die garage .... my dinge juik erg om n stand te bou ..... net n praktiese "clamp" uitfigure ...
