Bike arrived. Bikebox looks like it’s been in the Wars but visually bike looks ok. Built it an will ride it tomorrow.

 

Also got email to do survey, might get a free entry to any IM event in the world. Minute chance but worth doing I spose.

Just looking through the results , in my area grou 50 to 54 the first page of results only 4 saffers. That’s amazing. The AG winner did a 9:18. Wow

Just off the first page, 6th A 9:18 takes some doing for an AG.... lots of work needs to be done to get to those lofty heights!

I wonder if they will do the deal with EL & PE combo this year?

Just got my priority entrance to Ironman 2019, gone up again to nearly 6400, if you add the easy reg fee it’s now more n 6500.

Another 10 percent plus increase.

There was a combo deal. Did not look toclosely as I def won’t be doing EL.

I was going to skip 2019... but I've changed my mind and will join you on the starting line.

Best to do the combo deal of EL and PE, makes the price bearable!

 

2019 is a year for other goals/events... so will see you in 2020!

 

Will be FOMO for sure, so will be living, training and Racing with you in spirit...

I already have FOMO but must be strong. IM has dominated my life for the past 4.5 years since I made decision to do the full one, was only going to do one but now done PE last 4 years. The commitment to training an the regime is hurting my legs an old squash injuries are haunting me.

 

Difficult not to get swept up by it.
