Awesome race and well organized, especially for a first attempt. ASG have done well. They get a lot of flak on The Hub, but st least they are keeping many races alive, and brought us this great race/challenge.

Note to self, need to find out how to get a 42 tooth cassette to fit for TJ for next year.????

Agreed, I almost stopped and walked up TJ, but hung on... barely.

Lekker riding but some guys in AM wasn't keen on working together for some reason.

I think we have a winner!!

Great race, venue a bit cramped when trying to get in this morning, no issues getting out.

Well done Tswane and ASG!

The event was really well organized for a first attempt. I really enjoyed it. The VA's hurt me on those steep kicks but I hang on for a 2h30. If they can get a nice big sponsor behind the event it will go from strength to strength.

Very nice race. Well organized and plenty of marshals and traffic cops. I am impressed.

Indeed the Cycle challenge has a major competition. ASG should just advertise this more for popularity to get the avg cyclists who only do the big races to also join. Cannot wait for next year!

Well done to ASG.

Take my hat off for Metro police. There were some very angry Taxis, especially in skinner street. A very big thanks to the City and the Metro for assiting in and allowing the race.

Venue could be a problem if the race get bigger.

To the person who decided TJ should be part of the route, ..........

It was brutal. I have never seen so many proper cyclist walking.

I will be back next year.

B was a mess of sort in the front. Instead of working together nicely, guys would just come up and go fast then we have to close the gap. Those surges aren't nice and having to ask someone to come pull is not nice, when you peel off, they thought you putting them in the gutter and went hiding behind you. Hahaha, funny okes!

Also, CL bunch. The guy with the ABSA shirt and the VA guy(no 301), thanks for pulling the bunch. Julle is diesel engines.

Gotta say, CL worked nicely. Thanks to the okes who did pull at the front, especially the drag back after the N4 turn-around, and also thanks for not ripping everyone apart on that drag. We all stayed together until the foot of Voortrekker and then it was every man for himself.

And to the girl in purple who started in JL, and cruised past us on the way to Freedom Park, holy ****
