I was a little worried clicking into this post. But now I can see its about bikes, dogs and household paint.  I haven't got it any more so I might not be allowed to be a true tranny lover but I did have a 'Bottle Rocket' for the off season when I was working in the Ski fields around Breck'. It was a brilliant bike and I left it with a friend there who keeps telling me it's still there and he's holding on to it for me. This isn't my one but I had mine painted the same blue. It was a such a enjoyable bike.

That dirty girl is just asking to be ripped around a tight slalom course.

I love bikes like these. Before the enduro bandwagon. There were a few of these around.

But every single one was a head turner. They weren't really purpose built all mountain bikes.

At least they didn't start off that way. They were somewhere between a short travel free ride rig and a longer travel slopestyle sled. If you wanted one bike for park or trail it was something like this you wanted. Modern trail bikes just aren't the same.

Short range drivetrain. No dropper. The climbs sucked but it didn't matter.

You spent all day on it anyways.

I just came to compliment your bikes colour scheme. Its looks uber cool.

and also

Are those wooden window frames you painted blue? What paint did you use?

My current ride:

Smuggler with 140mm Pike, Spank trails and 115mm Monach Debonair set at 35% sag.

Nevermind the paint...

Do I need glasses or are those windows REALLY skew?

Awesome bike though - where could you get hold of one of these nowadays?
