Ride Partner Northern farms

Hi

I'm newish to MTB (been a Roadie for a few years) and like to ride Northern Farms on weekends and looking for a riding buddy.

 

Not riding too fast just steady and for the enjoyment thereof.

I generally do Blue route ,mornings on the weekend. Might extend to two laps or go red route...

I will be riding there Sat morning (not too early, probably around 7h30) if you're keen on joining.

Normally do Saturday at about 8 am and ride 35kms in about 2 hours so if you want tom come along ping me your details. A group of mates ride a bit slower and more social if you would like.

 

I do a mix of Black and red - the more interesting bits.

JMBC is pretty cool and varied routes and various skills groups , you wont go wrong they are well organised.

After having my baptism of fire on some trails in the WC - Meerendal, Bottleray and Table Mountain, NF is refreshingly easy and very well signposted. The aforementioned trails in the WC were in contrast extremely poorly marked and one was either descending holdingon for life or dying on a climb - ok exaggerating a little bit but Northern Farms is very easy in comparison.

A slight off topic thread revival. Does anyone know whether NF will be open during the week in the coming few days? I see on the website it only states Weekends and public holidays

Yup until the 12th of Jan but the hours they've stated is 7am - 5pm during the week
