My wife has "volunteered " to be the support vehicle for a few of us riding the race. I have done the event before and she has been there with me but has always been in the car with somebody else. This time she will be on her own. We can find the first stop at the school in White River on Google maps, cant find the second stop at Sabie. Does anybody know if the school changed its name? or does anybody have GPS co-ordinattes?

STAGE 2:

Stage 2: White River – Sabie (via Spitskop): 45km

At 09:30 riders will start tackling the second stage (in the same order as the first). The race moves out of White River onto the Sabie road over Spitskop and will end at the entrance towards Sabie. It’s a 45km ride after which the field will settle down to lunch at Sabie Primary School before gearing up for the final leg

Stage 2 hotspot is at a distance longer than the stage.

But. What is a hotspot anyway?

This will be my first Jock and the jitters have already started!

Any advice from the veteran Jockers?

My first one as well aN battling a bit of flu which I hope to shake before the start.

Think it's going to be a sufferfest for me.

Save some legs for Longtom... start of stage 3

If feeling strong after Longtom, get into a group and you will fly back to the stadium... there is usually a headwind on this section.

See you on the road :)
