Thanks Myles.

Will rather keep it then. :)

Thanks for all the replies.

I tried to offload my old Trance. I failed. Everything has a price, so someone out there will buy my bike, just not at a price I think is fair (fair to the deal, not fair to me), so now I need some storage space.

I ended up selling my upgraded 26" GT Avalanche 0.0 for a mere R3500 the other day, which was heart-wrenching. That bike was literally perfect in every way measurable. Such a fun ride, sold for pittance...

Howsit hubbers, Instead of creating a new thread I'll just carry on this one.

I have a roadbike I'd like to sell, can you advise on a good price.

It's a 2015 merida reacto 5000 ltd edition.

Comes with a power2max pm with 52/36 rotor chain rings.

Rest is the standard ultegra build.

I'm thinking of advertising it for 35k.

Will be selling with stock wheels not the ones pictured.

So the secret is all in the photos you take.

So firstly the photos has to be the bike in the spec that you are looking to sell it in.

Next is the setup - you goto have the cranks at 90deg and the wheels with the valves at the bottom - at which point the writing on the tyres need to either line up with the wheels or be right side up.

Lastly make sure you have pics from all angles showing every part and also a full side on picture. (I honestly don't know how guys try to sell a whole bike and then only has a picture of the stem or the saddle... )

But from your pics and depending what wheels are fitted when you sell it - R30k+ sounds fair with the power meter. Have a look at the new price on CWC though...

but be ready for those R15k offers...
