After Sunday's One Tonner Wind Simulator 2017 experience I'm amped for the Durbie Dash.

Anyone from Somerset West going through to Pre-Registration on Friday?

I know I wont be able to make it there in time. If some generous soul wants to grab my race number for me it would save me some early morning race-day stress  :)

I am struggling to read the map on the event website, are any of the Tygerberg trails open on Saturday for those who cannot take part in the race or travel to other trails?

I smell a breakaway attempt

I assume that the purple colour is probably the most fun as its half way between tail and head, which should make it a cross wind, so red may not be the toughest bit!

Looks like some fun at the end on Saturday!!

Might be a very dumb question.... but what is this supposed to be?

head wind and tail wind ?

Red head wind, blue tailwind. So if a segment is in one direction and its got a positive number its easy, negative is harder.

Snip.

Do you have a similar graph of how the One Tonner looked? Would be interesting to compare to get an idea of what to look forward to.
