Intense Primer SL build

The time has come for me to add something. What started as an itch to scratch, quickly turned into an online shopping spree. I never realised it at the time, but the Intense Primer was exactly the change I had been looking for. To be honest, I hadn't considered any of Intense's offering since the late 90's when downhill was my interest and they dominated the scene.

The frame arrived within 3 days, and I had a friend bring the fork (RS Pike RCT3 140 Boost) in for me the next week. The other parts and wheels have been trickling in over the past month (Joburg Int mail centre is nothing short of pathetic!), with just the bars and stem getting stuck in customs (will hopefully get them next week).

Some of the bits...

This is just plain rude and showing off... I hate you and your bike sucks!

Spent a lot less time than planned last night, but did manage to get the wheels ready to roll. 30x30 XM Carbon's on DT 350S hubs. I'm astonished at how light they are!

I managed to spend a bit of time on the bike last night. Drivetrain on! Now just waiting for the cockpit to arrive (6 weeks later, long story...)

That looks like quite a long stem.... Is there a shorter one coming?!

LOL yes, that's an old one I just used for fitting.

I take it the seatpost is just put in a bit for now and that you'll ride with it lower?

Yes, haven't fitted the bike at all other than some preliminary shock pressures.
