Event Name: Token Double90 Team Challenge
When: 14 April 2018
Where: Clarens, Freestate
Category: Road

Entries for the 2018 Token Double90 Team Challenge on Saturday 14 April 2018 are open. The first 10 teams to enter online will pay a discounted Early Bird entry fee.

In 2016 the Pedal Power Association took the concept of a team time trial challenge of almost 200 km to the Maluti mountains in the heart of the Free State. Teams consist of between 6 and 12 riders and compete in one of three categories: Open (mixed), all-male, or all-female, with the time of the 6th rider across the finish line counting as the team’s official time. Over the past two years, the event has left cyclists breathless - both due to the magnificent scenery in the Golden Gate Reserve, and the tough yet rewarding route.

The 2017 winning team in the open category, Team RoadCover Cycling, sprinted to the finish line at the President Square in Clarens and concluded their race in the incredible time of 4:38:31.

Very quiet about this event

Anyone doing it?

Me, me, pick me

If my feelings regarding Saturday is anything to go by, I think everyone is too scared to talk about the race...

Went up there last weekend. If you have the correct gearing, you'll be fine. Still going to hurt though

Edit. Think you worded it better than I did. Can't wait, but I really can do with a few more years of training.

Good luck with that! I'm in a social racing team, if that makes any sense. So long(ish) day out.
